Welcome to Omnia Player ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and safeguarded when you use our Android application.
1. Information We Collect
Omnia Player is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, harvest, or store any personal data on external servers:
- Local User Data & Credentials: Any server URLs, portal MAC addresses, user credentials, parental PINs, or playlists you enter into the application are stored strictly on your local device using Android Hardware-Backed Encrypted Preferences (KeyStore).
- Device Hardware Identifier: To enforce single-device in-app license validation and prevent license piracy, the app creates an anonymized, one-way hashed hardware device signature on your local device.
- In-App Purchases: All financial transactions and in-app purchases ($9.99 Pro unlock) are processed directly and securely by Google Play Billing Services. We do not store or collect credit card numbers, payment details, or banking information.
2. Data Usage
The information stored locally on your device is used solely to:
- Authenticate with your user-provided IPTV / Stalker portals.
- Manage your 7-day Live TV trial status and active $9.99 Pro license.
- Save your player preferences, keymaps, subtitle settings, and category locks.
3. Third-Party Services
The app integrates standard Android and Google services necessary for billing and playback:
- Google Play Billing API: Handles secure in-app purchase verification. (Google Privacy Policy)
- TMDB / OpenSubtitles (Optional): If enabled by the user in Settings, movie metadata or subtitles are requested directly from those APIs.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard encryption practices, including EncryptedSharedPreferences and Android KeyStore System, to ensure your local credentials and settings remain protected against unauthorized access.
5. Children's Privacy
Omnia Player does not target or knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app includes parental pin protection settings to lock specific content categories on device.
